A "domain"is a region for which the regional downscaling is taking place, for
example the African "domain" covers the whole of the African continent

The document below presents the regions used for the CORDEX regional
climate model integrations project and defines the RCM interior domain,i.e.
the area left once the relaxation zone is exclude. This updated document now
contains the details for the latest CORDEX domain, CORDEX South East Asia (SEA)

Domains receining an official CORDEX designation must satisfy the criteria
outlined in this 'Criteria for Selecting ans Updating CORDEX Domains'
documnet. Please send your application for new and updated domains to the
IPOC.They will then be passed to the CORDEX Science Advisory Team(SAT)
for review and approval if the application satisfies all criteria
